Compromises
What is undone in the fall is redone in the spring.
Like the bushes.
And the dock.
And the shower floor.
The bushes were the only thing that didn’t require human involvement. They did just fine on their own. They offered no opinions and made no compromises.
Everything else required a compromise. From vision to strategy to technique to preferred tool to location to material to bulb wattage.
And the biggest factors to achieving compromise? Exhaustion and running out of time.
Good thing there were only four humans involved.
Of course, speaking from personal experience, it only takes one human to require compromise.
The bush would look better a little more to the left.
If anything, it should be moved to the right and a little forward.
