A Slow Transformation
I’ve started changing Meagan’s bedroom from one decorated for a 12-year-old girl to one decorated for a tasteful adult. This will take a while.
I decided to have Nicole spend one of her hours helping with this. Not one of my better decisions. The painter’s tape wasn’t nearly wide enough, and one of the drop clothes that she put down wasn’t actually a drop cloth.
Again, I went to my left over paint supplies. The primer was actually tinted, but, while it was darker than the paint, it was at least in the beige family. For the paint, I combined about a half gallon of Montgomery White at 75% formula with a little less than a quart of Montgomery White at full strength. I think I have enough to cover all the pink walls. If I want to cover the green walls, I’ll have to get another gallon at 83.33% formula, right?
Once I change out those electrical sockets, do something with that chest, touch up the trim, and maybe get a window treatment, I’ll be done with one wall.
