Birch Redux
Last year about this time I wrote about getting into the Christmas spirit by chopping up (actually chain sawing through) a birch tree.
As a reminder, this is what I did with part of that birch tree:

Recently, I bought two planters for my front entrance, and they have been standing empty. Unfortunately, I couldn’t let that be the case for when my Thanksgiving guests show up. I took a quick look on Pinterest, and, sure enough, some of those planters had sections of birch in them. So I had Dave go look for any additional branches from that tree that were perhaps still out there.
He came back with this:

I am so artistic lately, it is scary.
And don’t give me any grief about the tacky, fake greenery. Michael’s was having a deal.
Birches, man.
