Buttoned Up
The yard has pretty much been put to bed for the winter. Pool closed. Hostas cut down. Rhododendrons covered.
About the only thing that hasn’t been done is the raking of the leaves. I don’t do leaves. I call Glenn in for that. And he also puts up the fence around the arborvitaes.
Why all the burlap and fencing? Because of this:
I also took out the chain saw and cut down some trees. Dave says it was four trees, and he may have a point since there are four fresh stumps. But I only remember three. I may not have been thinking clearly that day. I was a little miffed. I love it when I get the rolling of the eyes from household members when I ask them to do something. Of course Dave claims I start off every sentence with “Can you…”.
Nice.
Good thing I have that chain saw.
