Characters
I escaped the frozen tundra that is New England for a few days and ran into a few characters.
First, me. I continued to work on my photography skills, …
… and rediscovered my favorite activity.
Second, the rents. They keep on asking why anyone would want to hang out with them, and they avoid attention at all costs. I’m surprised I got them to pose for this picture, and they will be horrified to see it.
Third, the sibs (a couple of them anyway). The klutzy one and the bossy one leader. Not pictured but also there – my brother Dave, the social one (we saw him for a few minutes, which was nice). All the sibs are very different, for reasons I won’t go into here (even the ones who share the same parents.)
Fourth, the friends. Of my sister Sue. (I don’t have any friends.) I didn’t know these women well before the trip, and I still don’t. But after asking and answering some embarrassing questions (that didn’t seem embarrassing to any of us at the time except, perhaps, the designated driver), I know them a little better. So do the rest of the people in the restaurant. And that poor waiter. I can tell you that golf outfits are very important to them. And they like to eat. I’d also say a number of them are bossy leaders.
Finally, I didn’t run into this character (my husband), but Sue and her friends did at the airport. After 5 minutes at the gate, I’m sure they know him better than they know me.
