Dogs

I do not like dogs.

Maybe that’s a little strong. I recognize the wonderful companionship they can provide to those who do like dogs, and they can be pretty darn cute.

Except when they are licking their butts.

And the dog who happens to be living in my house without my permission was doing just that. As well as “scooting” on my carpet.

She was also scratching at her ear and drinking copious amounts of water. So much so that I had to get up at midnight last night to let her outside to go pee.

So who got to bring her to the vet today?

Me.

Prior to writing up the bill ($187) for an ear cleaning, a couple of injections, some pills, and the expression of impacted anal glands (while I was in the room!), the vet suggested I bring her outside for a few minutes because she was probably going to need to go poop.
