From One Culture Back to Another
Meagan is at it again. Bucharest, Romania this time.
Once again, she includes food in her favorites about a country she is visiting. This time, a dessert called Papanasi – fried dumplings with cream and jam.
It doesn’t sound like she got much sleep on this trip. Bucharest stays up late, and the people she was with were up for exploring. The last night they were there, they didn’t bother to sleep at all.
She saw a jazz festival, went to a park, visited the Romanian Museum of Natural History, got invited by a group of Turkish people to an opera, walked by an outdoor music festival, and went into Old Town for the cafes and bars.
Who cares what she did for work?
She commented that she was feeling very European and that she was going to need a burger and watch Kardashians when she got back to feel American.
