Music Appreciation

I was at my mother-in-law’s this past Saturday continuing to clean out and organize the garage and workshop. In my digging, I managed to unearth a bunch of record albums, including this one:

I was a little taken aback to think that my husband was a Bobby Sherman fan. It took me a minute to realize the “D” was for Debbie, my sister-in-law. I was very relieved. However, the fact that it crossed my mind as a distinct possibility remains unsettling.

Turns out Debbie had the same taste in music that I did. I was a little jealous at the number of Donny Osmond and Osmond Brother albums she had. And I came across this little gem that I had recently discovered missing from my own album collection:

I left the albums so Debbie can go through them, but I did manage to get rid of a few other things, including a changing table. Over a very pleasant dinner with Debbie and Jim, one topic of conversation was the upcoming wedding that will be held for the first occupant of that changing table. Now a days, her students call her Ms. Murphy. I think it was time to get rid of the changing table.
